Representative Conway was elected chairman of the 2009 freshman class of the Connecticut House of Representatives. He was sworn in as Representative on January 7, 2009. Representing the 61st Assembly District of Suffield, Windsor & East Granby, This was his first time elected to the Connecticut General Assembly.  Representative Conway serves on the Eucation, Judiciary and Energy and Technology committees.

Representative Conway has been recognized for his efforts by numerous groups. He received the 2009 Child Advocacy Legislative Leadership Award.

Representative Conway earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Technology at Central Connecticut State University his Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the Central Connecticut State University and his Doctorate in Education Administration, Policy and Research from the University of Massachusetts.

Matt, his wife Alison , and his four children,  live in Suffield, CT
